About the role

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be an instrumental part of our go-to-market team, focused on generating and closing direct business. You will work closely with marketing and alliances leadership to support overall growth of the business.

What you'll do

  • Own and grow mid-market and enterprise accounts in 50% of US market, building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Hunt and close: Drive new business through outbound efforts, partner networks (VARs, Resellers, MSPs), and inbound leads.
  • Engage senior stakeholders: Communicate SurePath AI’s value to security, IT, and C-suite buyers.
  • Collaborate with SurePath AI Sales Engineers to support opportunities through technical pre-sales, demonstrations, customer trials, and implementations.
  • Oversee customer engagements for trials, proof of concepts, and design partner engagements to convert qualified opportunities to paid subscriptions.
  • Be an active member of the go-to-market team in ideating and testing new strategies, including developing and iterating on target segments and messaging
  • Identify and develop field-sales relationships within services, referral, and resale channel partners to drive pipeline growth. Position strategic partners into opportunities where appropriate.
  • Track and report on pipeline, forecasts and closed revenue within our CRM and sales intelligence tools.
  • Be a pro-active owner of your sales and martech stacks, maintaining CRM hygiene and creating processes that accelerate your business.
  • Provide direct sales support on channel referred sales opportunities as needed.
  • Partner with product management to prioritize product roadmap and backlog to support key opportunities.
  • Represent the company and source leads at partner events, conferences and user groups.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience as a direct account executive within SaaS B2B companies, preferably in cybersecurity, AI, or compliance tech.
  • Proven track record of prospecting, developing, and closing direct pipeline to exceed sales quotas, preferably generating first-revenue or early-revenue.
  • Past high-growth startup experience, preferably in early-stage startups (~B round or earlier).
  • Experience working with global technology partners such as MSSPs, VARs, distributors and technology alliance partners.
  • Ability to understand AI and security technical concepts and position solutions for partners and customers.
  • Effective communicator with experience developing business cases, presentations and written proposals.
  • Experienced with Hubspot and other currently available sales intelligence and prospecting tools.
  • Motivated and self-organizing team player that is able to adapt quickly and embrace change.

That is why every employee at SurePath AI receives equity incentives at hire and is eligible for additional grants under our regular performance review cycles.

The on-target salary + commissions range for this role is $250k-$300k.
